 Korean-to-English Translator Position in Daejeon

Jeung San Do’s International Department seeks to fill a Korean-to-English translator position. Jeung San Do is a spiritual movement founded in Korea. Jeung San Do headquarters, located in Daejeon, South Korea, manages dao centers throughout the world, trains Jeung San Do teachers, and produces writings and promotional materials in English and other languages. The position of Korean-to-English translator entails the translation of lectures, books, articles, promotional materials, and various compositions from Korean to English. The position also entails collaboration with in-house editors and reviewers to produce high-quality translations.

Bachelors degree in humanities. Strong English composition skills with advanced comprehension of the Korean language. Experienced translators preferred.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

9am – 6pm (M-F)

Rent-free accommodations, round-trip airfare, health insurance, four-week’s paid vacation, and a retirement benefit equal to one month’s salary for every full year of employment.
