Faculty Position Opening (Non-tenure Track)
: Native English professors (in school of liberal arts)
Who can teach English classes at Korea Aerospace University.

Korea Aerospace University (KAU) is seeking full-time native English professors Who can teach English classes beginning on March 1st, 2017.

1. Qualifications
a. Must be a native speaker.
b. Must hold at least a minimum bachelor¡¯s degree
c. Must hold TESOL or equivalent certificates
(¡Ø If not, not qualified to apply)
d. preferred condition
-E1 visa holder,
-Master¡¯s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Sociology, History,

Literature, etc
-the person who studied phonetics and have experiences in speech clinic
-the person who could teach general studies in English

(such as English Reading, Global culture, History, Practical Economics

Principles of Contemporary Economics, etc)

2. Duties
a. Working five days per week from Monday through Friday
b. Teaching 15 class hours per week, averaged over the two semesters of the

school year.
c. Student guidance (flexible schedule)

3. Terms of Contract, Compensation & Benefits
a. Annual contract (can be renewed)
b. Starting salary; up to Degree & ESL Teaching experiences
(Approximately 33,000,000 Won per year, if you have bachelor¡¯s degree only)
c. Medical Insurance
d. Pension (when leaving KAU)
e. Summer and Winter Vacation (approximately 4 months)

5. Required Documents

b. Recommendation letters
c. Copies of each degree (B.A/M.A.)
d. Copies of transcripts of each degree (B.A/M.A.)
e. Copies of passport (information page and relevant visa)
f. Photocopied Foreign Registration Card (if available)
g. Copies of TESOL or equivalent certificates
h. Copies of employment history (if available)
¡Ø Note)
- The above required documents except the application form shall be scanned and e-mailed as attachment files. However, the original version of the documents shall be submitted when whole screening procedures are completed.
- All documents submitted shall not be returned and re-submitted after those were submitted.

6. How to Apply

7. Interview
a. There will be interviews for applicants, who successfully pass the primary

& secondary screenings.
b. The interview schedule will be provided after the each screening is

completed.
