College English Education Committee (CEEC)
Seoul CEEC Seeks English Instructors for Fall, 2014

1. Qualifications:
* Native speakers of English.
* M.A. or higher in all fields (Open to ALL Majors)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching EFL/ESL experience
* Teachers must be able to sign the CEEC contract without any problems with their previous positions.
*Teachers must be available for a face-to-face interview in Seoul, Korea.

2. Required Documents:
Phase I.
* Resume with a recent photo attached (2 professional referees should be included)
* Detailed Personal Statement (Including Teaching Philosophy and Teaching Experience)
Phase II.
* Copy of Diplomas & Transcripts (B.A.& M.A.)
* Letters/Certificates of previous job experience, (if applicable)
* One recent letters of recommendation (if applicable)

3. Selection Process:
a. Phase I. : Review of applicant¡¯s resume and personal statement.
b. Phase II. : Demo-lesson (15 min.) and Interview
* If you pass the first phase, submit the following additional documents before the interview date.
- Copy of Diplomas & Transcripts (B.A.& M.A.)
- Letters/Certificates of previous job experience, if applicable
- A sample 15 minute lesson plan focusing on academic presentation or writing skills for intermediate or low level Korean EFL students
- Sample activities or materials
- One recent letters of recommendation (if applicable)

4. Main Responsibilities:
a. Teaching 12 hours per week (16 week semesters) plus 4 to 6 hours per week of overtime when needed.
b. 2 hours of office hours a week.
c. Contributing to CEEC committee work and activities
5. Working Conditions:
a. Salary: 2,688,550won/month or more based on experience (for the base 12 hours) + 25,000 Won/hr for overtime.
b. Paid summer and winter vacations. Teachers may be required to teach one vacation class, with additional pay, but generally are not required to teach on vacations.
c. Housing: A studio apartment in Hanyang Dormitory (if available). If housing is unavailable, a 300,000 won/month housing allowance will be provided.
d. Health Insurance.
e. Pension (Teacher¡¯s contribution is paid to a private school pension fund).
f. Contract: 2 year contract from September 2014 to August 2016. Contract can be renewed with CEEC committee¡¯s approval.
g. E1 Visa: Supports E1 VISA for qualified/eligible teachers

6. Notice
a. The required documents received by CEEC will not be returned.
b. If required documents contain false statements, eligibility for employment will be withdrawn.
c. Interview will be scheduled within a week after the notification of acceptance in the first phase of application.
d. All applications will be received by Seoul CEEC.
e. Place of submission:
