Keimyung University is a prominent, well-established academic institution located in Daegu, South Korea. Keimyung University was established by Presbyterian missionaries following the Korean War in 1954 to provide higher education with Christian values. With over 28,000 students, including 850 international students, Keimyung is the nation’s 9th largest University. Keimyung University also has one of the largest communities of international professors in Korea, with more than 100 professors from Europe, Asia and North America. Keimyung is strongly committed to supporting its international faculty.

Keimyung Adams College (KAC) is Keimyung’s international honors college. KAC offers all of its courses in English to an elite student body consisting of both domestic and international students, with most students possessing above-average to advanced levels of English competency. KAC offers bachelor degrees in both International Business and International Relations. The college is rapidly expanding and seeking new faculty members to continue the mission of providing the best educational experience to its students.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess a MA (MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Language Education strongly preferred) along with 3 years of teaching experience (at least 2 years at the university level preferred).
The successful candidate is expected to be fully committed to achieving excellence in teaching, able to complement existing faculty and willing to collaborate with faculty from other colleges and departments as deemed appropriate.

Keimyung Adams College is searching for a new professor.
Candidates should possess either a MA in ESL/ English Literature/ Linguistics with 3 years of teaching experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this non-tenure track (or adjunct) position will primarily be responsible for teaching 12 hours per week courses related to English language skills development (i.e., communication skills, academic writing). The position also requires evaluation of students and limited administrative tasks.

Salary
The successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary. The starting salary of all positions is negotiable based on specialty, professional experiences and academic accomplishments.

Finalist will be required to submit the original copies of the above documentation and other relevant materials (e.g. Master degree dissertation, career certificates, etc)
