Comfortable daily routine with an extremely easy Friday schedule at two locations in Seoul.

Monday~Thursday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with lunch from 12:20~1:20 PM
Friday: No more than one hour total on Friday (2:40~3:40)
Classes: 30 minutes each - 5 times per day + one extra tutoring class (one hour) in the afternoon

Salary: 2.4~2.6
Benefits: Neither flight nor housing are provided / pension & severance included / insurance is 50/50

i-Gaem is an early childhood education program with locations throughout Seoul.

Currently, we are seeking teachers for the Seongbuk (http://sungbuk.i-gaem.com/) and Songpa (http://songpa.i-gaem.com/) locations. Both locations are in Seoul and conveniently located near enough to big city and natural entertainment to satisfy most individuals.

i-Gaem is a play-oriented program and does not insist upon an overly strict curriculum or testing system. Nonetheless, we believe that individuals with a background in education and/or with experience in the field of early childhood education make the most of this environment. In addition, classes are mostly taught in Korean with a single foreign teacher at each location, thus applicants must be independent and outgoing. There are, of course, English-speaking Korean staff members to eagerly assist you. Above all else, applicants must be kind, loving, and able to create bonds with the children who are mainly under 6-years-old, Western-age.

Primary responsibilities:
-Create and develop an interest in spoken English through games and activities which you devise yourself. Though resources are available, lesson planning will be up to the teacher.
-Provide practical speaking and listening experience to children who learn phonics, reading, and writing skills from a Korean English teacher.
-Provide feedback on the level and progress for each child when needed.
-Create relationships with the children in order to support them in their continued growth and education.
-Possibility of some basic tutoring (normally 1-2 students) for one hour in the afternoon.

-Minimum of an undergraduate degree in a preferred major (Education, English, or some other child-care related degree)
-Passport (valid up to 6 months)
-Criminal Record Check with an apostille (US) or stamp from a Korean Embassy (Canada)
-Applicants must also submit to a medical check/blood test upon arrival in Korea

*If currently employed in Korea, confirm that a release and transfer from your current employer will be possible.
