Music Division


*  DMA(Doctor of Musical Arts) or 2 years teaching experience is required for MA(Master of Arts) degree holder  or  4years teaching experience is required for BA(Bachelor of Arts)

*  equivalent performing experience is required

*  Documented performing experience is required




* Music Division: Since the establishment of the Music Division in 1999, it has grown into one of the leading music major departments in Korea. The Seokyeong Orchestra, String Orchestra, and Wind Orchestra perform at Seoul Arts Center regularly, and students become winners of major music competitions.

The Music Division puts more emphasis on performance classes to produce world-renowned musicians.

*  Contract period: 2 years (March 1, 2014 ~ February 29, 2016)

*  Salary: 2,700,000~ 3,000,000Won

*  Teaching hours: 10 hours, plus office hours

*  No vacation teaching required

Candidates must have a DMA degree (or equivalent) (Performance degree). Otherwise, he/she must have an MA (or equivalent) degree and at least with 2 years teaching experience at college/university level.


If you have B.A degree, you need to have at least 4 years teaching experience at college /university level .

* positions among part-time lecturer, full-time lecturer(former), assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor
* If he or she has previous career experience as a part-time lecturer, the weekly teaching hours should be stated on the certificate of employment

Á×  Copy of passport photo

Á×  Copy of alien registration card (front and back)(If you have one)

Á×  Performance work within last 3 years (ex. Copies of concert program, CD etc.)



Á×  If no candidate meets the UniversityÁøs requirements, the University reserves the right to suspend the hiring process.

Á×  Our school does not return the submitted documents.

Á×  Applicants who provide any false information will be exempted from the hiring process.

Á×  Dual application to different departments for new recruits is not allowed; this will result in applicantÁøs disqualification.

Á×  Overall notification to applicants in the process of review shall be made via e-mail, and the final stage interviewees will be individually notified by mobile or home phone.
