YBM PREMIER Speaking Center for adults, the latest concept in the YBM family of schools, is located in Seoul with branches in Jongno and Gangnam (now hiring for the Jongno branch only). YBM PREMIER provides core and specialty courses, small class size, set curriculum, daily student assessment, and the finest facilities and technology. We are seeking professional and passionate instructors to join us!
General Benefits:
* Salary (tier determined by qualifications): 2.2~2.5mil / month
* Overtime rates: per 80-minute class, 32,000 (Weekday) ~ 40,000
(Saturday)
* Housing allowance: 400,000 / month [F4 visa-holders not eligible]
* Housing key money; staff assistance in locating housing [F4 visa-holders not eligible]
* Potential salary with overtime: up to 3.8mil / month
* Hours: Monday to Friday, average of four 80-minute classes per day; 20 teaching days per month
* Saturday requirement: 4 months during contract period, for overtime pay
* 10 Session Vacation (school closure) days (fixed evenly throughout the year; non-discretionary)
* Round-trip airfare, pre-paid [F4 visa-holders not eligible]; if hired from within Korea, round-trip to Japan (for new visa) plus return ticket to home country at end of contract
* Severance pay: according to Korean national law; minimum of one monthís base salary
* Visa processing costs reimbursed: visa application, criminal background check, medical examination (in Korea)
* Medical and pension: according to Korean national law; 50% employee, 50% employer
* All Korean national holidays observed
* 50% tuition reduction on YBM Korean or Japanese language classesQualifications:
* Citizenship [REQUIRED for E2 teaching visa]: US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland
* Education: undergraduate degree (4-year) [required]; graduate degree [preferred]
* Major: English, Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or Business
[preferred]
* Teaching Certificate: CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent
[preferred]
* Teaching Experience: One year full-time [minimum requirement], with adult learners [preferred]
* One-to-one and small-group teaching experience a plusNote: Corporate-style Dress Code
