Swell, Seoul Women’s University, is seeking highly qualified and dedicated candidates for 4 fulltime positions, starting March 1st, 2010

* Qualifications: Applicants must have at least a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of university teaching experience in ESL.

* Duties: The primary responsibility of this position is to teach two thirteen-week regular semesters and two six-week intensive programs during Summer and Winter vacations. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, and participating in faculty meetings and professional development. The minimum teaching load during semesters is 16 hours per week. Additional teaching hours may be required with hourly overtime payments.

3. Copies of your original undergraduate and graduate diplomas(Originals will be required by successful applicants.)
4. Official transcripts (sealed) from undergraduate and graduate institutions clearly showing the date that the degree was awarded
5. Abstract of the master¡¯s thesis (if applicable)
6. Copies of certificates in TESOL or equivalents (if applicable)
7. Copies of the information page of your passport and alien registration card(only for residents of Korea)
8. Recent letter of reference regarding your teaching abilities and character
9. Researching and teaching plan
10. Passport size color photograph
11. A copy of Criminal records

* Salary & Benefits: The basic annual salary is 29,000,000 won (2.4 million won per month) plus Summer/Winter intensive bonus. Four major insurances, including medical insurance, will be shared by the university.

* Housing: Private on-campus housing or 500,000 won for housing stipend per month will be provided. Utilities, including electricity, water, phone, internet, and other maintenance fees, are the sole responsibility of the professor.
