City introduction:
Nantong, a prefecture-level city in jiangsu province, is located in the southeast of jiangsu province, on the north wing of the Yangtze river delta. It reaches the yellow sea in the east, the Yangtze river in the south, Shanghai and suzhou across the river, and taizhou and yancheng in the west and north. Nantong, which combines the advantages of "gold coast" and "golden waterway", has a coastline of 226 kilometers along the Yangtze river and is an important part of the Yangtze river economic belt in jiangsu province.

Due to the alluvial sandbank, nantong chenglu has a history of more than 5000 years. The city has a history of more than one thousand years since it was founded in the third year of the later zhou dynasty (956). Nantong has 3 districts, 1 county and 4 county-level cities under its jurisdiction, covering an area of 8,544 square kilometers.
