20.  AP English Teacher Needed at a Boarding School in Shenzhen, China: 20K-30K per Month before Tax Plus Accommodation

A boarding school in Shenzhen is looking for a quality AP English teacher to start on August 1, 2019. The salary ranges from 20,000RMB to 30,000RMB per month before tax, and a provided apartment outside of campus. Class sizes are between 20-25 students. The teaching load is about 20 lessons per week. Each lesson is 45 minutes. Holidays include 3 weeks off for winter, 6-7 weeks for summer, 2 weeks Christmas holidays as well as Chinese public holidays. The holidays are fully paid. The school buys flight tickets to their teachers. The health insurance, trainings and Z-visa (work permit) sponsorship are provided. The work schedule is from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The roles include a salary of 15,000-25,000 RMB per month (before tax), with an additional apartment allowance of 3,000 RMB-4,000RMB per month. Class sizes are limited, and generally around 20 students. Free meals, comprehensive international insurance and Z-visa (work permit) sponsorship will be provided. Teachers enjoy around fully paid winter and summer holidays with plenty of time to travel, and the school will reimburse one flight ticket per year. The school is looking for passionate and responsible teachers. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with 2 hours lunch break.

2) How does your service work? Does it cost anything?

After you submit your application and go through an initial screening interview, we put you directly in touch with the school which you will be interviewing with. 3) What is the process like once I sign a contract?

Once you sign a contract you will begin the Z-visa process in your home country. This process takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Prior to entry into China your school will help to arrange either temporary accommodation while you look for an apartment, or in the case of some schools, help you move into an apartment that is provided by the school. Your school will have a person who is there to help you with basic things such as setting up a bank account, getting a SIM card, etc. Facebook, Reddit and other social media sites offer great resources for connecting with other teachers living in your city.
