About Jadeclass:
Founded in 2008, our mission is to deliver comprehensive Western-style college preparatory education. Our long-term development curriculum is tailored for students 6-16 years old, and provides English-centered academic training. Core courses include intensive reading, writing, science, mathematics, history, and social science.

Who We're Looking For:
Ideal candidates will have experience teaching early childhood classes (Kindergarten through fifth grade) with success meeting the needs of diverse learners. Candidates should also have enthusiasm for teaching a curriculum that features real-life application of skills and the energy and willingness to collaborate and advance within a vibrant learning community.

Job Description
● Teachers work 40 hours a week with a maximum of 16 hours of classroom teaching on weekends. Consecutive days off are given during the week.
● Office hours may be spent grading homework, editing lesson plans, crafting new assessments, or other tasks as assigned.
● Classes will be a maximum of 6 students per class.
● Most classes for our younger students are a generalized curriculum of English-language support. What this means is that they may have a reading this week that focuses on science, next week it may be on literature, the following week history, etc. Each of these courses won't focus simply on the knowledge they gain from the readings but also on growing their vocabulary and developing their reading, writing, and speaking skills.
● All English-language support classes will come ˇ°pre-packagedˇ± with content (readings, assignments, assessments, etc.). Teachers will undergo training on how best to deliver this content and support the students before beginning to teach.
Employment Package
● RMB250,000-360,000 annual salary, based on experience
● Round-trip ticket flight allowance annually
● Sponsored Foreign Expert Certificate and Residence Permit
● Standard Chinese holidays off plus 10 paid vacation days
● Health Insurance
● Airport pick-up upon arrival
● One week hotel accommodation upon arrival if needed
● Assistance with acquiring housing, paying bills, obtaining a cell phone, obtaining a metro card, etc.

● Minimum two years' teaching experience with references. If your college degree is in education, teaching experience is not required.
● Minimum bachelor's degree, must be certified by a National Notary and verified by a Chinese Embassy in the issuing country (this can also be done in China).
● Native English speaker
● All employees must have a clean criminal background check.
● If your teaching experience is less than 2 years, you must have a TOEFL certificate certified by a National Notary and verified by a Chinese Embassy in the issuing country.
