The Job
Imagine Preschool is now holding interviews for motivated and qualified kindergarten English teachers. Our students are aged from 2 to 6 years old and we warmly welcome teachers who love educating kids and are seeking a rewarding adventure in China to join our team in Beijing, Xi’an, Shandong or Hebei. 

Our international school is a member of Eland International Education Group (EIEG). Our teachers play an essential role and are responsible for direct implementation and instruction of the curriculum to their assigned students.

Beijing – The City
Beijing, capital of the People’s Republic of China, is the nation’s political, economic, cultural, educational and international trade and communication center. Located in northern China, close to the port city of Tianjin and partially surrounded by Hebei province, Beijing continues to be an exciting place for all things music, fashion and art with plenty of events and shows to attend. This is the world’s largest public square and a must see for all visitors from abroad and from other places in China.
Xi’an – The City
Xi’an is the second most visited city in China, mainly due to its status as home of the Terracotta Warriors and it being the former capital of China for 13 dynasties. Together with Athens, Rome and Cairo, Xian is one of the most famous of the ancient cities; rich in a history that spans thousands of years. Xi’an, meaning ‘West Peace’ is the capital of Shaanxi province and is conveniently located in the center of China. The Terracotta Army is located in the satellite tombs to the mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang. The site was discovered in March 1974 when farmers found many broken pottery figures while sinking a well in Xianyang village.
Cangzhou – The City
Cangzhou  is a prefecture-level city in eastern Hebei province. The city has historically been known in China for its wushu (Chinese martial arts) and acrobatics. Cangzhou is also famed for its historic thousand-year-old 40-ton sculpture, the Iron Lion of Cangzhou. The sculpture is reportedly the largest cast-iron sculpture in the world, cast in 953 in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The famed lion has even given its name to a locally brewed beerand is a symbol of the city.
Zaozhuang – The City 
Zaozhuang is a prefecture-level city in the south of Shandong province. It borders Jining to the west and north, Linyi to the east, and the province of Jiangsu to the south. The Battle of Taierzhuang happened here during the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1938. Its culture started from 7,300 years ago of ancestor culture, and developed to city-state culture 4,300 years ago. It is also a region of striking natural scenes.

Main Responsibilities
-Maximum of 15 teaching hours per week (usually scheduled in the morning)
-Maximum of 25 outdoor activity (scheduled in the afternoon) & admin hours per week 
-Monday to Friday Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm (weekends off)
-Student ages: 2 - 6
-Conduct classes that are fun and engaging
-Interact with children as they play in learning centers, helping them to learn English while they develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically
-Join the children while they participate in outdoor activities 

Compensation
-Excellent salary: 15,000 – 20,000 RMB after tax per month (based on experience and qualifications) 
-Arrival hotel stay on provision of receipt
-Free accommodation located in a beautiful community by the school
-Round-trip flight ticket provided
-All national holidays plus 10 days personal holidays (full pay) 
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided (all associated costs for visa will be reimbursed by the school) 
-Health insurance provided
-Meals provided during work schedule
-Plenty of social activities for teachers 
-Free optional Chinese lessons 
-Professional training and ongoing program support provided by world-class education experts

Requirements
-Native English speaker from US, UK, NZ, Australia, Canada or Ireland 
-Bachelor’s degree (preferred: ECE/ Elementary Education, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, Teaching Credential) 
-TEFL certificate 120 hours or above required (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
-2 years relevant teaching experience and references preferred (if not, then you should have TEFL)
-Clean criminal background
-Motivated, professional and culturally aware
