Hello we are Little Campus and we are looking for a teacher to work in our school in Hefei,China. My name is Drew Doolittle and I'm an American who helped open this school, we aren't like other schools, I worked as a foreign teacher for a few years before starting the school and one of my worst experiences has always been with office hours. Seemingly endless time wasted just to ensure you are sitting at your desk in the office. Unless we need you doing something I see no reason you need to be sitting around the office for 3-5 hours doing nothing, you teach from 6-8 on weekdays so you just need to show up at 5 to prepare your class with your CT. Weekends we do demos all day and you teach in the morning and evening so you will be needing to stick around all day on them. In total you teach 4 2 hour classes on weekdays and 4 2 hours on the weekends, the office hours you will have will be minimal and have a purpose, rather then just to kill your time. The other major pro you will have is communication with a foreigner who controls things. Chinese companies are infamous for being hard to communicate with and being an English teacher at one is no different, the lack of communication and the fact that most of your actual bosses usually have very poor English creates an environment that is truly frustrating. Luckily here if you have a problem you can always tell me by Wechat and I will help Resolve it. The other leader of the school Emma also has incredibly good English and you should never have any problems communicating with her. We pay very comparable rates versus our competitors, with a base pay that you start with and as you get more classes and teaching hours your rate of pay will also increase. I hope that we come off as different than the other companies, because I really believe we are, I am completely committed to teaching English to the best of my abilities and ensuring my employees are satisfied. Because I've worked at companies where employees have been satisfied, and where they haven't been. I think you can guess which was more successful. The teachers are the backbone of the school and I think that they should be treated as such.
