"Hello World" is a newly started after-school and weekend program for enhancing the English language skills of children 3 to 14 years old. Located in the Northern section (Chaoyang) of Beijing, "Hello World" offers native English speakers an opportunity to work with small groups of excited and highly motivated children while at the same time learning about the language, culture, and long history of China.

1: Location: Northern Beijing nearby the subway
2: Contract Duration: Flexible but at least 6 months
3: Class size: 6 to 8 kids per class
4: Age group: From kids 3 to 14 years’ old
5: Start date: Any time
6: Working schedule: Monday to Friday, after school and most weekend days. Teachers will have 2 days off per week (one a weekend day), per a pre-arranged schedule. Maximum 40 professional hours per week (25 teaching hours and 15 hours prep work per week).

• Native English speaker.
• No need for you to have degree or TEFL certificate or any teaching experience as long as you are willing to learn, but a TEFL, TESL or CELTA Certificate is a bonus!
• American, British, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealander citizenship required.
• Clean Health and Police record required.
• Enthusiasm, patience, dedication, and a love of children are a must.
• Should possess the ability to adapt to a foreign environment.
• Must be able to commit for a six-months stay or longer.

What We Offer!
• 7,500-16,000 RMB per month for STARTING SALARY depending on qualifications and experience. More can be earned once seniority has been established as a teacher and a leader.
The city of Beijing has an extremely low cost of living even though It is a large and capital city (especially when compared to America, Canada, Britain, Australia, and New Zealand), so it is easy to save a lot of your salary for traveling, sending money home, or building savings.
• We will pay for your flight (coach) into and out (upon completion of contract) of China.
• 6,000RMB contract bonus upon completion of each year!
• We will help you with a China work visa and help to obtain health insurance.
• Airport pick up upon arrival and aid to help you settle in Beijing at the beginning.
• Provide teaching plans and have a bilingual assistant.
• On-going training.
• Housing assistance and housing allowance offered (negotiable depending on candidate’s experience).
• Chinese lessons with an experienced teacher are available. (At an extra cost).

Document Process:
While you are in your home country, you’ll need:
• A valid passport with at least 12 months on it from the date of expiration
• A formal letter of invite from your school, otherwise known as a Foreign Expert Invitation (Note that this documentation is not simply provided by Hello World. We have to apply for your ID, and we have no control over how quickly your paperwork is processed. Some bureaus process paperwork quickly while others don’t. The waiting period is typically two to six weeks.)
• A Foreign Expert ID (We will send this to you.)
• YOU visit the nearest Chinese Consulate in your area to apply for a Z visa (work visa) – Don’t forget to bring your letter of invite!
• A Z visa (Employment visa)
• You may need to do a health check in your home country, depending on where you are teaching. Your school will advise you of this in advance.

Once you are in China:
• You’ll need to do a full health check-up.
• You’ll register with the local police station so they know where you’re living. Your school will help you do this.
• We will help you get your Residence Permit
