The TLC (Total Learning Center) CHINA is one of the largest private English schools in Hangzhou Zhejiang province China. We teach students aged 5 to 16 mainly.

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and its political, economic and cultural center. With its famous natural beauty and cultural heritages, Hangzhou is one of China's most important tourist venues. Hangzhou has a subtropical monsoon type climate with four quite distinct seasons. However, it is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter making it a year round destination. Travel from Hang Zhou is very convenient; 2 hours drive to Shanghai, Suzhou and 40 minutes to a major airport with daily flights to large cities in China.

Our contract includes:
* Number of vacancies: two people / A valid passport holder under the age 35 from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa/ Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate holder preferred

* Length of contract: 1 year (June to August)
* Start Date: Jan 2010
* Salary: RMB 8,000+ (according to the teacher¡¯s experience)
* Overtime teaching: at the rate of RMB120 per hour/ optional
* Duties:
Teach kids English, textbook provided but teachers are encouraged to be creative in their lessons and activities.
Teaching hours: at most 22 hours per week. Total hours spent at work: up to 40 hours per week. (Including the teaching hours and class preparations)
Workday: five days a week during non-peak season. (Including SAT and SUN)
Workday: six days a week during peak season (June through August & January through February)

* Housing: covered not including bills
Single room in a shared furnished apartment with cooking facilities, western toilet and major electronics. The apartment is nice and clean.

* Free Chinese Lesson for 2 hours per week during spring and fall semester
* All necessary legal documents including working visa, resident permit
* Other benefits:
Round trip airfare reimbursed. (Up to maximum of USD1, 000) / End of contract Bonus / Free airport pick-up /Comprehensive medical insurance. / Free Internet access (at the school) / Opportunities of transfers to TLC KOREA after finishing one year contract / Assistance with any medical problems that might arise/ excellent teaching resources
