Currently Seeking an experienced teacher for Pre-K Class (3-4yrs), Start date: November, 2009

Introduction
Fortune Kindergarten International School was first established in March 1998 and now has three campuses in Shanghai. (Pudong and Hongqiao Districts)

At FKIS we have a unique approach to bilingual education with each class having both a Chinese and English speaking homeroom teacher. Our co-teachers deliver a truly bilingual school-based thematic curriculum with equal emphasis given to both languages. With our focus on personal as well as academic development, together with an international education, we are truly preparing our young children for the future.

We offer a caring and supportive environment, merging Chinese and Western teaching and learning approaches. Each class also has a full-time caregiver.

Fortune Kindergarten International School offers early childhood education for 2-6 year old children of expatriate families and Chinese citizens. Position
* Homeroom Teacher
* Full-time: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Support
* Active support for teachers with their professional development
* Assistance with: airport pick-up, securing accommodation, setting up a bank account, connecting home/cell phone and internet, and more

Requirements
* Teachers with energy, creativity and a passion for working in early childhood education

* At least 2 years experience teaching in early childhood as verified by references

* Teacher Certification or Education Degree preferred

* Understanding of curriculum

* Share equal responsibility with your Chinese co-teacher for daily teaching, classroom management, lesson planning and parent communication

* Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work successfully with both children and adults

* Native speaker or native speaker level English

* Interest in contributing to the extracurricular program

* Participating as a team member and supporting the schoolˇ¦s activities
