Seeking 10 Teachers to Teach at Various Schools in Kanto Area - Niigata Prefecture, Japan

Fifth Wings Japan is currently seeking 10 teachers to teach at various schools here in Japan (Kanto Area - Niigata Prefecture). The Japanese schools have an excellent teaching and learning environment for English, for both teachers and students, and the communication between teachers, parents and students are excellent.

TYPE OF WORK: Teach English to preschool, kindergarten kids, and elementary kids (after school class).
Experience with children is essential. Ability to relate to and have fun with children. Participate in and assist with extra-curricular activities. Assist with other duties specified by the supervisor or the
school principal at your workplace. You will enrich the lives of children by sharing your knowledge of English and communication skills and giving insights into other cultures. Your job would be two-fold:
language instructor and cultural ambassador. These two aspects are inseparable, and you, as a successful English Teacher, will become an expert in both. You can expect to teach classes on your own, with a
Japanese teacher present to help manage the classroom.

The school facilities are advanced and excellent for teaching little children.

The working week consists of 35-40 teaching hours per week, 5 days a week with special events now and then during the year on a certain weekend which will be told to you in advance.

The candidate must be a qualified and experienced teacher with:

**Native English speaking ability

**Bachelor Degree (ideally in education) plus Teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE) or equivalent

**Minimum 2 years teaching experience

**Be able to teach kids up to 6 years old.

Minimum Qualification Requirement:
M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification. Applicants must be of sound mental and physical health. Applicants must not have a criminal record.

Experience:
2 Years (not counting college training)

Type of Staff:
Females can only apply to this job. As females are preferred for teaching little children here in Japan.

Prefer candidates with international experience

Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are typically NOT accepted. Experienced teachers with no qualification are typically NOT accepted. However, if you show initiative and are extremely creative and independent, then we can have a look and talk and see where we go from there.

Salary Range:
A salary from Yen 220,000 - Yen 230,000 per month will be based on experience and qualification, 10-12% Tax is applied.

Housing:
Company will find you a good private housing and rent. Company will pay your key money. But the teacher is responsible for her own rent and utilities.
FURNITURE: washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, and futon provided.

Medical:
Health Insurance provided.

Contract Length:
1 - 2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement

Full Visa Sponsorship Provided.

Age restrictions:
45
