Overview:
B3H Corporation is currently seeking enthusiastic ESL instructors for an opportunity to teach American English to Royal Saudi Air Force cadets. The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) has a requirement to conduct English Language Training (ELT) at the Technical Studies Institute, King Abdul Aziz AB, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. B3H provides English Language Instructors and an English Language Training (ELT) program using Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) courseware, methodology and processes. Candidates looking for long term employment preferred.

Secure work environment at King Abdul Aziz AB, DhahranResponsibilities:
Instructors will plan and conduct classroom instruction of ESL/EFL, evaluate student performance, advise on the placement and training needs of students, adapt and develop instructional materials, and make professional recommendations for improvement of curriculum design, training materials, student administration and training program management. Provide students with a total immersion (English language in the classroom) in the American English language for six (6) hours a day using DLIELCs American Language Course (ALC). Conduct General English classes to facilitate successful accomplishment of students' entry into technical/professional training.
Prepare weekly lesson plans based on instructor guides, which describe course and unit objective.
Evaluate, advise and assist students by assigning and correcting homework, diagnosing academic problems, planning and providing remedial help, and counseling students on their academic progress.
Review and evaluate students language progress and make recommendations IAW guidelines and procedures.
Diagnose and document students' academic problems on student counseling records and academic records
Instructors must be culturally sensitive and remain patient, resilient, independent and exhibit a sense of humor
Our instructor cadre should be able to build an excellent rapport with the students and have the ability to adapt to changing schedulesQualifications:
1. Command over the American English Language2. Current United States passport with one year remaining before expiration and two contiguous blank visa pages
3. Must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
A. A combination of education and experience with courses equivalent to a major in English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL); plus. appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study.
B. A 4-year degree that included or was supplemented by a major study in English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
4. Plus one of the following:
A. At least one year of specialized experience in English language or foreign language instruction. Specialized experience includes: providing instruction to a diverse student body using the principles, practices and techniques of English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL); teaching ESL/EFL to adults from basic elementary to advanced English; planning, preparing and coordinating instructional activities for adult students; creating and managing student assessment techniques and objectives to include test and measurement principles; assisting in the development and improvement of curriculum design, training materials, instructional delivery, and student administration; preparing lesson plans by selecting and adapting instructor texts and guides, or developing a plan of instruction for class- specific exercises.
B. Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education OR a Masters Degree, Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in one of following disciplines: English as a Second Language (ESL), English as a Foreign Language (EFL), Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
1. Prior to employment, candidates are required to provide:A. Copy of passport
B. Copy of diploma
C. Copy of official transcripts
