Moscow, Russia - Native English Teachers Needed For Various Teaching Positions

Dear teachers,

Everyday English is recruiting a range of native English teachers for positions in Moscow for the upcoming 2018/2019 school year.

Everyday English is an American owned private language school in South-West Moscow which provides English language education exclusively with native English speaking teachers.

Our teachers teach in a wide range of areas and venues including: public and private primary and secondary schools, Russian kindergartens, English only kindergartens, individual home tutoring lessons, group lessons, educational community centers as well as our own city summer camp.

Our school is not a big box school and strives to be unique in providing the best possible education to all of our students as well as fair and professional conditions for our teachers.

Our current recruitment campaign seeks to place ESL professionals into specialized and targeted teaching roles.

BEGIN DATES - Beginning to mid-Spetember. No later than 1. October.

Currently Everyday English is accepting applications for the following positions/specializations:

- Adult teaching specialist
General and business English for adult group lessons/Highly advanced learners of English and teachers

- Exam Prep Specialist for adults and teenagers (Cambridge)
Lead exam preparation classes such as KET, PET, FCE as well as IELTS and TOEFL

- School Aged Children teaching specialist (7-12)
General English lessons in groups or individual tutoring lessons - Ability to teach and prep for YLE Starters, Movers and Flyers tests also desired.

- Very Young Learners Specialist
Teaching English using contemporary methods and approaches to children ages 1-6. Mother and child group lessons, play and craft lessons, child motor skills development, English immersion and courses focused on raising bilingual children from birth. (Experience in early childhood development REQUIRED)

- Full time Kindergarten teacher
Includes providing an English immersion environment to children all day as well as more focused English lessons and some care-taking responsibilities (changing diapers not required)

- Full and part-time English nanny
Devoting full attention to one to three children in a family and providing English lessons and full “life” immersion into the English language for the children. (Experience in early childhood development and basic care-taking skills REQUIRED)

-Full and part-time mentor/tutor
Devoting full attention to one to three children in a family and providing English lessons and full “life” immersion into the English language for the children. Ages school level and higher 7-15

- Summer Camp Teacher - THREE MONTH POSITION JUNE-AUGUST 2019
Work with groups of children at camps with children EITHER 4-7 yrs or 8-16yrs. Great for less experienced teachers and those who want to explore Russia in summer! Lead lessons with kids and interact with them in a camp setting with educational activities and games.

All Candidates must have:
1. Completed tertiary level diploma. (DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT HAVING COMPLETED A DEGREE PROGRAM - DOES NOT APPLY TO SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS)
2. Relevant job experience OR TEFL/CELTA certificate (online courses not accepted)
3. Previous employer references (We will check)
4. Absence of HIV (Russian regulation)
5. Native English accent considered standard or common to a traditional English speaking area
6. Citizenship from one of the following countries - USA, UK, South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malta — Bilinguals and Russian nationals with emigration histories will be reviewed on a per case basis.
7. Enough initial funds to allow the teacher to move, begin work and integrate into work in Moscow.

Renumeration:

Standard monthly minimum comfortable living level for Moscow amounts to 85.000 Rubles (1.336 Dollars as of 20.07.18)

85.000 Rubles covers:
-Single Apartment plus utilities
-Transportation Card
-Food expenses
-Phone and internet expenses
-Approximately 100 dollars spending/saving money per week.

All teaching positions are guaranteed a base rate renumeration package as listed above. Depending on the position being applied for and experience/qualifications of the teacher, higher salaries are very much negotiable. Each applicant considered will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Benefit packages and additional teacher comfort allocations are NEGOTIABLE
-Airfare reimbursement, paid transport expenses, visa reimbursement, etc.

Teachers are provided with shared accommodation during initial 3 month probation period. Assuming successful completion of probation period, the teacher shall be given a raise and offered single housing options/assistance.

Making sure you feel comfortable here in Russia
Providing a shoulder to cry on
