Communications Training Developer Position - Philippines/ United States

Job Description
ePerformax is seeking an experienced professional with extensive ESL training and curriculum development experience to support ePerformax’s Global Communications team in the Philippines. This full-time position is based in the Philippines so relocation to our corporate headquarters in Manila is expected. However, we may consider a U.S.-based applicant willing to travel for 1-2 months per trip depending on qualifications and experience.

The Communications Training Developer will report to the Director of Global Communications Training Development and will be focused on creating, implementing and analyzing the effectiveness of our English assessment tools, training workshops and resources to help our trainees and employees enhance their skills communicating in English.

•Gather, analyze, and define end-user requirements for training in accordance with business communication objectives.
•Collaborate with internal subject matter experts in the design and development of training curricula, media, and materials.
•Analyze, propose, develop and implement improvements to our communication assessments, testing scenarios, the feedback employee loop, and the overall process to enhance the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness our ability to identify and improve communication behaviors that correlate to success in customer interactions by phone, email or chat.
•Analyze, recommend, develop and implement improvements to our communication training programs, tools and processes to help our trainees and employees improve their communication skills based on their individual assessment.
•Create instructor materials: course outlines, teaching and visual aids, reference material, instructional materials, training aids, train-the-trainer courses/materials, etc.
•Facilitate communications workshops and train/certify other trainers in the company as needed.
•Evaluate spoken or written (chats, e-mails and memos) communications using our proprietary online English assessments which measure our international employees’ ability to communicate effectively in English to resolve customer issues.
•Other duties as assigned.

Who We Want
You must have excellent verbal communication skills, a background teaching English as a second language, and experience developing diagnostic tools and training resources to help non-native English speakers improve their skills. We are seeking someone who meets the qualifications below and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a development team that includes executives, IT personnel and other ESL developers/trainers. Experience using the Kirkpatrick method of training evaluation is a plus.

•Candidate’s first language learned, primary language spoken growing up, and current primary language must be American English.
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can pass our English proficiency tests
•Bachelor's degree required with TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/TKT/CETYL certifications or other equivalent certificates preferred
•Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) and developing ESL training programs. Priority will be given to those who have experience developing training programs or tools to help ESL students understand and improve their ESL communication gaps.
•Strong knowledge and experience in curriculum design and adult learning methods
•Exceptional critical thinking skills
•Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule at times to work with team members in U.S. and Philippines
•Can work in a fast paced, changing environment
•Can work independently and meet deadlines without direct supervision
•Has strong time management skills and attention to detail
•Demonstrate proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint or similar software design and develop training efficiently
