Calling all teachers with a passion for peace-building and adventure! GET, Peace Boat's language training programme, is now accepting applications for English and Spanish language teachers for Peace Boat's 100th global voyage

The 100th Global Voyage for Peace will depart from Yokohama, Japan on December 26, 2018 and will return on March 31, 2019 after visiting countries such as Mozambique, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Tahiti, and many more! You must also be able to participate in the orientation which is scheduled to begin around one week prior to the departure of the voyage. The deadline for the application is 17:00 JST (Japan Standard Time) on Monday, August 27th, 2018. National interviews are scheduled to be held on September 15-16 (Saturday and Sunday) at the GET Office in Tokyo, Japan. Interviews for overseas applicants will be conducted via Skype between September 14 and 21, 2018.

Conditions of Employment:
This position is for enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic individuals with a minimum of 18 full-time months language teaching experience. Applicants should be highly advanced speakers of English or Spanish, although it is not necessary to be a 'native' or 'first-language' speaker. Certification or graduate degree and Japanese ability are highly regarded. This is a volunteer position, but voyage expenses are covered.
