JapanesePod101.com maker Innovative Language Learning seeks a passionate ESL teacher for a role in curriculum development, assessment development, and online instruction.

This role is part-time to start, but with room for growth. It's potentially full-time for the right candidate.

The role involves preparing curricula, assessment, and learning content for EnglishClass101.com, as well teaching adults (mostly business students) online. Work location is Akasaka in the heart of Tokyo, Japan.

Key Responsibilities
- Review & develop curricula to be used in developed of online audio & video content, interactive assessments, and courses with live teacher instruction and assessment
- Teach students online in one-on-one sessions and through an asynchronous messaging service
- Review performance of other ESL teaching staff
- Work to align company ESL teaching efforts with core value and curriculum documentation

Minimum qualifications:
- Native-level English speaker
- BA/BS degree
- ESL certification and/or degree in English language teaching
- > 1 year of classroom experience
- Highly organized, yet flexible

Preferred qualifications & experiences:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in English-language acquisition
- Available to teach online between 5-8 p.m. JST

No Japanese required
Position can begin immediately
