Calling all teachers with a passion for peace-building and adventure! GET, Peace Boat's language training programme, is now accepting applications for English and Spanish language teachers for Peace Boat's 99th global voyage

The 99th Global Voyage for Peace will depart from Yokohama, Japan on September 1, 2018 and will return on December 17, 2018 after visiting countries such as China, the Maldives, Morocco, Iceland, Peru, and many more! You must also be able to participate in the orientation which is scheduled to begin around one week prior to the departure of the voyage. The deadline for the application is 23:00 JST (Japan Standard Time) on Thursday, April 19th, 2018. National interviews are scheduled to be held on May 19-20 (Saturday and Sunday) at the GET Office in Tokyo, Japan. Interviews for overseas applicants will be conducted via Skype between May 14-18, 2018.

Conditions of Employment:
This position is for enthusiastic, highly motivated, dynamic individuals with a minimum of 18 full-time months teaching experience. Applicants should be highly advanced speakers of English or Spanish, although it is not necessary to be a 'native' or 'first-language' speaker. Certification or graduate degree and Japanese ability are highly regarded. This is a volunteer position, but voyage expenses are covered.
