International Teaching Opportunity:(For Native Speaker of American English)

The Thomas Jefferson School, a private bilingual PK-12 school, located in Concepcion, Chile, is looking for an oral English teacher. The School’s English program dedicates one hour per week in each class to oral English instruction and practice (kindergarten through grade 8). The successful candidate must be a native speaker of American English who has completed a degree at an accredited university. ESL or teacher training desired but not required, however the willingness and vocation to work with children and an outgoing and balanced personality are essential. Basic Spanish is helpful for out-off-school life but is not required. Preparation for the 2018 school year begins mid-February and instructional responsibilities for this position close mid December 2018. Salary and benefits include basic health insurance, Chilean retirement fund, full airfare reimbursement from the U.S.A. and Return, upon completion of the contract, and free housing except for utilities. A take home salary of $1000.00/m for 12 months. (This salary is equivalent to a regular Chilean teacher.
