Native English Speaking Teachers Needed in Mandalay, Myanmar

A kindergarten and their early primary school partner, the brother owns the kindergarten and the sister owns the primary school, in Mandalay are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who loves playing English games, singing songs, and creating an active classroom environment.

The kindergarten is in a brand new building with air-conditioned rooms, but the primary school is a little more like old-fashioned Myanmar schools; However, both have nice friendly staff that make this one of the more teacher-friendly jobs in Mandalay.

Must be a native speaker from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or Ireland with experience working in a kindergarten environment highly preferred.

Start Date: September 1st

Salary: $1200 a month

Workload: 25 hours a week; two consecutive days off per week; Paid national holidays

Ages: 6-12

Accommodation: Will be provided at a clean mid-range hotel near the school; the school will provide a lender motorbike for the teacher's commute (roughly 10 minutes from the hotel to the school and roughly 10 minutes from the kindergarten to primary school; like a triangle); hotel will include wifi, air-conditioning, mini-fridge, hot-water, and breakfast included. Also, lunch will be provided at the school on working days.

Flight Reimbursement: Up to a $1000 dollars paid on December 24th.

Contract Length: 5 month contract; possibly extendable if the school and candidate fit well together
