Immediate Opening for ESL Teacher in Yangon, Myanmar

ES4E, a private school in Yangon, has an immediate opening for an ESL teacher.

The successful candidate should be a university graduate from a native speaking country (USA, Canada, England, Australia, NZ preferred)with some experience teaching children between the ages of 3 and 15. Previous experience living and working overseas will also be looked at favorably as will higher qualifications directly related to ESL. He or she should also be outgoing, adventurous and friendly! We are a family run school and try to maintain an enjoyable and cooperative working environment!

The initial contract will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will be for one year. It is possible to stay longer. Free housing in a Western style guesthouse will be provided along with free lunches on school days. The basic working schedule will be Monday to Friday from about 8:30 am to about 4:00 pm. The contact will be for 40 hours a week at the school, but teaching hours will be about 28 to 30 hours a week. It will be required to work on some weekends and a compensatory day off will be given during the week in that case. Occasional evening lessons are also a possibility. The teacher will need to be willing to have some flexibility in their schedule. Assistance will be given in getting and maintaining a working VISA and assistance relocating to Yangon is also possible. The monthly salary will be a maximum of $1,000 (USD).
