Enthusiastic and flexible native speaker EFL teachers needed for comfortable, friendly International English School in Moscow, Russia

Posted By: Windsor English Language School <job@windsor.ru>
Date: Monday, 11 August 2014, at 1:22 p.m.

Windsor English Language School is a friendly, family-owned establishment.

That's what our teachers say about the school:
"Windsor is a great place to be a teacher. The clientele they bring in is so large and diverse that staff members have a real opportunity to work in their preference areas (IELTS prep, conversational English, children’s groups, individual tutoring, etc.) while still getting the chance to branch out and develop their skills in less familiar areas. The administration is very understanding of new teachers who are still trying to find their comfort zone when taking on groups in new professional areas."
"The best part of being a teacher here is the freedom to bring your own strengths to each new class. The school takes a lexical approach to instruction, which allows room for teacher creativity. The regular training sessions are actually helpful, and classroom observations are taken as opportunities for professional improvement rather than for evaluations of conformity to administration’s dictates."

We are an IELTS Pretesting Centre and an official partner of University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. We work closely with the Moscow Examination Centre, and most of our teachers, once sufficiently experienced, go on to become certified Examiners. This professional development brings the possibility for regular examining work in Moscow and the possibility of paid working trips.
Our policy is to trust our teacher's expertise and to place them at the heart of what we do.

Qualifications:
- Natives of the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
- Hold a recognized qualification: CELTA, Trinity TESOL, TEFL.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Compensation:
Remuneration package is to a value of approximately 80 000 rubles a month and includes following:
• A teacher's monthly salary from 30 000 rubles net for 104 academic hours a month, or from 36 000 rubles net for 120 academic hours a month. 1 academic hour equals 40 minutes.
• Shared accommodation very close to a metro station or 18 000 rubles allowance. All utility bills are paid for except for telephone bills.
• Visa sponsorship during the contract.
• Medical insurance.
• Metro travel card.
• Flight allowance.
• Meeting at the airport on arrival.
• Paid induction period (without a reduction in salary).
• Paid holiday.
• Full academic support (including bi-monthly in-house training, consultation sessions and seminars).
• Mentoring for less experienced teachers and personalized support through the first weeks in Moscow.
• Free Russian lessons for all levels given by a professional teacher.
• Free Internet access in the school; free coffee and tea.
• Annual bonus.

There is a possibility to have some extra hours during a week or on weekends for attractive remuneration: if you take 4-6 extra hours a week you will make 500-600 USD per month.
