You may stay up to 12/24 months legally in Brazil as a trainee-teacher of English and learn Portuguese and be acquainted with Brazilian Culture in general through Intercultural Practical Training Program sponsored by some Brazilian schools of English, nationwide.

To participate you must be enrolled in any college/university, normally at last year of graduation, hold the status of student at time of application, taking courses linked to teaching careers, especially languages, communication, etc.

You must also be recommended by your current college or university informing about your qualifications and that you are able to accomplish with the program successfully due your sense of responsibility and performance observed during the course you are to terminate. Intake months are February and August.
Program will assist participants with visa paperwork once they are screened to participate.

It does not apply to married candidates, considering that host-centers do not have accommodation for couples and children.

It is not a job offer, but an opportunity to learn Brazilian Culture, Portuguese learning by immersion and get a qualified experience in ESL.

Brazil is On focus lately because it will be hosting the Soccer World Championship this June/July 2014 and Olympic Games in 2016. Take your chance!
