 Train and Mentor Teachers with the British Council Malaysia

Your EFL career is about to take a step up. Now you can train teachers and work for the leading EFL provider in the world. 50 new roles to start January 2014 are available now.

You’ll play a key part in delivering high quality British Council language proficiency, teacher development and coaching to teachers from government schools.

Posts are at various locations in Malaysia. Some roles are working in teams of 4-6, for others you will be working independently. Roles in both urban and rural areas are available. Training contact hours will be around 24 per week.

To be appointed to one of these vacant positions you will have:
• An undergraduate/university degree
• a recognised ESOL qualification (Cambridge CELTA/ DELTA or Trinity TESOL/dipTESOL or a PGCE in TESOL or relevant subject)
• A high proficiency in English
• Between 2 to 5 years relevant EFL teaching/training experience (this could be with adults, young learners or a mix of both

Contracts are for one or two years.

In return, you will receive an attractive international package:
• Salary: scale ranges from MYR 8,660 to MYR 10,650 gross per month
• Contract Terms of 1-2 years
