A language school in Kochi, south Shikoku, is looking for native English speakers to teach at local high schools as ALTs. Those schools are located out in the country, so if you are dreaming of living close to nature and pulling in a reasonable income at the same time, this is an offer you should not miss out. Come to Kochi and teach English in a green and quiet environment. It’s urgent. We need one teacher now for work starting in April. You have to apply from inside Japan.

1. Job title: ALT (Assistant Language Teacher)

2. Main Duties: Assisting Japanese English teachers with teaching, lesson planning and preparation, participating school social activities

3. Salary: Annual 2,400,000 yen with completion bonus at contract end.

4. Housing: Rent, deposits and utilities are teacher’s responsibility

but we will help you find accommodation and buy a car. .

5. Commuting: Paid by Evergreen up to 10,000 yen

6. Insurance: Accident insurance (health insurance not included) covered by Evergreen

7. Holiday: Approx. two months, mainly summer, according to the Board of
Education calendar.
National holidays and weekends are off.

8. Period: Starting April 8th, 2013 and ending March 14th, 2014

Option to renew for another year from April depending on the availability of teaching positions in schools.

9. Qualification: Native English speaker
College degree
Experience in teaching
ALT experience preferable but not required

Shimanto city
