Teacher Intern for elementary school (K-6) in coastal Canoa, Ecuador. This is a classroom position-teaching elementary students basic subjects in English Monday-Friday. The monthly stipend of $300 is not adequate to pay living expenses, applicant should have other funds to support themselves. Volunteer Intern Requirements
• Native English speaker
• Minimum commitment: 6 months, ideally the entire school year (April-February)
• Able to work with up to 15 children in one classroom
• Patient, responsible and enthusiastic personality
• Some previous experience working with children and/or prior teaching experience
• Basic or intermediate Spanish level helpful but not required
