Teaching Positions in Muscat, Oman

Applications are invited for teaching positions starting in September 2013.

Positions are for Linguistics and Literature lecturers within the English Department. Successful candidates will have an exceptional understanding of the English Language, Literature and History. This position will teach within our academic program. Mazoon University College believes that advances in Language ability can be achieved through the study of Literature, researching, discussing and writing about insights gained. We are seeking highly qualified, experienced and serious teachers.

Candidates must have Masters degree/ PhD (preferred) from a recognized university in the relevant field with a minimum of five years teaching experience at the university level. Priority will be given to candidates from native English speaking countries. Non native speakers who have completed their university education in any of the following countries will be considered: USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

The remuneration package includes:
Competitive tax free salary

30 days annual leave

As well as other benefits as prescribed by Omani labor law.
