Assistant Language Teacher Positions in Japan - Applicants Must Reside Outside of Japan

Our client is an established company based in the Kanto region of Japan. They have an excellent support system for teachers by providing them with great working conditions and helpful teacher resources. Our client's goal is to provide the highest quality Assistant Language Teachers to public schools in the Kanto region, which include the prefectures of Chiba, Gunma, Tochigi, Saitama, Tokyo, and Ibaraki, and also in the Tohoku and Hokkaido regions in the north.
Location: Kanto, Tohoku, Hokkaido regions of Japan
Salary: 177,000 yen to 240,000 yen per month (220,000 yen is the average salary for teachers coming from overseas
Contract Length: 1 year
Start Date: March/April 2010
Basic Job Description:
ALT's will be teaching in public elementary and junior high schools in a cooperative manner with a Japanese English teacher. Teachers will assist with planning lessons, leading class activities, and encouraged to participate in school events.Basic Requirements:
a)University Degree in any discipline
b)Native English speaker
d)Must be independent, enjoy working with children*Teachers must be flexible with their placement location in Japan
*Teachers must be able to pay their own airfare and bring at least $3000.00USD to JapanBenefits:
a)Full Working Visa sponsorship
b)Housing Assistance
c) Up to 8 weeks of Paid Vacation time plus national holidays.
Approximately 4-5 weeks off in the summer, 2 weeks off in the winter, and one week off in the spring.All interested applicants please apply with your resume
