Let me introduce myself. This is Amiksha and I am in the recruitment department in a company called Bahwan CyberTek LLC based in Muscat, Sultanate Of Oman. We are a SEI CMMi Level 5 company, a part of a $2 Bn group headquartered in Muscat.

1. We have been contracted by the Government of Oman for the assignment of recruitment of Head of the Department-English for their Engineering Colleges.
The selected candidates will be appointment on contractual basis for a period of one year renewable at the end of each year based on Mutual consent. The assignment will be in any one of the seven colleges of Technologies in the Sultanate of Oman .
The candidate should be:
- M.A. / B.A. / B.Ed. in Applied Linguistics and Professional qualification in TEFL / TESOL Or CELTA/DELTA from a recognized organization
The Job Description is as follows:
o College English Department administration
o Staff management & training
o EFL program, course, syllabus & materials development
o English programme development
o Recruitment
o Curriculum Management
o Policy initiative & development
o Develop evaluation strategies
o Reporting procedures
o College culture and direction
2. The ministry requires English Lecturers for handling classes in Diploma and Degree level students.
The candidate should be:
- M.A. / B.A. / B.Ed. in Applied Linguistics and Professional qualification in TEFL / TESOL Or CELTA/DELTA from a recognized organization
- Minimum 4 years post degree experience in the field of teaching English Language
- Experience in Multi-media teaching, self-access methods, assessment, course design and testing is an advantage.
- Should be a native English Speaker.
THE WORK-SCHEDULE:
Total Working Hours: 40-hours per week (including administrative duties) Teaching Hours: 20 hours per week in class (50 minutes per class) College week runs from Saturday through Wednesday
