Teachers Needed in Oman

ELS Language Centers/Oman seeks qualified EFL Instructors for our branch in Sur. Must be a native English speaker and available to start immediately.

Other positions are also possibly available in other ELS Language Center branches in Sohar, Muscat and Salalah.

Location: Sur, Oman - less than 2 hours south of Muscat on the coast.

Duration: 1 year contract (renewable)

Compensation package:
Salary of 750-850 Omani Riyals/month tax free per month depending on experience and qualifications,(approx 1950-2200 USD/month)

Total package includes fully equipped and furnished apartment, medical insurance, return air ticket after each completed year of service, 30 days holiday/completed year, end of contract gratuity for each year of service.

Description:

Main duties and responsibilities
Teaching up to 25 hours per week, mainly to young adults, plus 6 hours administration for grading etc as required. Paid overtime is available to those wanting more work. Also possible relocation to one of the other three branches in Oman if needed.

Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (B.Ed. or B.A. in English preferred)
EFL Teaching Certificate (e.g. CELTA, Trinity TESOL)
Minimum 2 years English teaching experience (Middle East experience a plus)
