The Institute for Continuing Studies at Abu Dhabi University (ADU) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is looking for full time English language teachers, available as soon as possible. The Institute is involved in work with the wider community rather than university students and experience with learners in the adult education sector is an important criteria for applicants.
You will be working on a range of contract-based programmes and based in either Al Ain, Abu Dhabi or Suweihan. This can be a challenging and constantly changing environment and we are looking for culturally sensitive, proactive and flexible individuals.

* CELTA certification, the UCLES DELTA certificate OR an attested Masters level qualification in Applied Linguistics. Please note that we do not accept any other kind of certification other than the UCLES CELTA certificate.
* Native speakers
* A COMPLETED Bachelors degree (not necessarily in English).
* Able to tolerate a high degree of ambiguity
* The ability to make very dry teaching materials come alive.
* Tolerant and easygoing - strong intercultural communication skills and ability to adapt.
Package USD$3000 equivalent paid in dirham for the five week course (tax free) + return airfare from home city + free, shared accommodation in large villas on the outskirts of the city.
