We are looking for a friendly, energetic and dedicated teacher to join our school. Student ages range from pre-school to adult. Class sizes are a maximum of 4 students for pre-school and 8 for elementary, junior high and adult classes. A+ Language School is a family owned and operated English conversation school located in Chichibu, Saitama, Japan about 90 minutes northwest of Tokyo. We offer a friendly, engaging and supportive place to work for an enthusiastic teaching professional. About 80% of our students are junior high age or younger, so a desire to teach and have fun with kids is a requirement for this position.

Position description
Start April 2010
Teach 6 days/ week (Monday through Saturday morning)
Teach up to 26 hours/week
1-year renewable contract depending on performance and student enrollment

Salary and Benefits
270,000 yen/month (12 month contract)
All Japanese holidays off
9 weeks paid vacation
Visa sponsorship available
Company car available (teacher pays insurance and gas)
Assistance in finding housing if needed
100,000 yen relocation allowance

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Native English Speaker from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland
Ability to work well with others and a strong motivation to see your students succeed
Experience in teaching EFL preferred
