I certainly did not invent the game of Boggle, but I have used it with students of varying proficiency levels and it is quite a hit. For lower level students, I will allow them to use two letter words until they get familiar with the rules of the game. It also works as a reward--I tell my class "Okay, if you will do these three exercises in the book, then you can play Boggle" In larger classes you can divide the students into teams--this works very well.
