Easy fun Homework
I teach in south Korea, and I had no idea how to get students to practice some english writing and structure outside the classroom.
That was until I struck upon the idea that many students read comics and books of fiction and non fiction in Korean.
I asked each student to bring for each class 3 sentences translated from their own langauge into what
they considered to be English. I ask students to read their translation out in class then if there are mistakes etc.
We then take the sentence and place the on the board and ask for suggestions. This creates some discussion about where words shold be placed in a sentence.
