Tea for Two!!!
![]()
This idea assumes knowledge of the song, "Tea for two, and two for tea!". With this music the teacher sings "Me to you. And you to me. Him to her. And her to him. Us to them. And Them to us. LA LA!" (banging the table on LA LA!). This little ditty is useful in prompting students who don't know which classmate to work with. When the teacher has indicated the group formations and one or two students say "Who am I working with!?!", the teacher then hums the music and the students who actually know what to do, sing to their partners "Me to you and you to me!". Then the pairwork begins!! Tim Brook, Inlingua Vomero, Naples
