Online MA in TESOL!
If I were........
In teaching 'If Clause - type II / Present Unreal', I usually use this game at the end of the lesson.
It is just a simple game, yet it is fun enough for the students.
After explaining the structure, I write down several interesting noun as the same numbers as the students, such as, a president, an ape, tarzan, a car, an ocean, a plane, an apple, a worm, etc.
Then, I ask the students to make sentences using the words given. After that, I erase the word right after it is being used by a student, so the rest can't use that word again.
This way is quite fun, because the students will compete to create sentences.
Have a nice try!
