Grab bag stories
This involves students picking words out of a bag and using those words in the story. I did one with animals, objects and names in the bag and my students had to pick 5 from the bag. The students have to incorporate all of the things that were grabbed. This works well with younger students (grades 3-8). Hope it works well for you guys.
