The Game of Life
![]()
Um ... This one is pretty simple. Go out and buy 'The Game of Life' and let your students play it. It's worth the money you put into it. The students have a great time going through life making money, getting married, having children. (I always write down the names of the husbands\wives\kids.) The game deals with big money so the students have an excellent opportunity to practice money talk. "I gave you $20 000 so you owe me $5 000." I love walking around (i have two games) and just let it happen, correcting a little grammar and explaining a few words. The game can lead into some great question & answer sessions after. "What DO you look for in a man?", "Would you REALLY name your child Sterno?", etc.
