Street Talk
I already wrote an online review for Street Talk at amazon.com, but I
wanted to also "plug" it here. David Burke has a series of books
called Street Talk 1, Street Talk 2, Street Talk 3, Bleep, Biz Talk 1
and Biz Talk 2. I own all of them except Biz Talk 2. I teach an
Advanced ESL class where we study a lot of idioms. I think that all
of the books are useful, but personally I use Street Talk 1 the most.
When I first got the book, I mostly just used the exercises in it, but
it's also turned out to be a great book to develop my own lessons
