Dave's Dubious Spelling Bee
A great way to help teach and test some of your beginning to advanced students spelling is to conduct an old fashioned spelling bee in your class. Only you can divide the class into two or more groups and have them compete. This way you avoid some of the pressure of the dreaded traditional elementary school spelling bee. Perhaps include the bee as part of a lesson on a topic and ask for the spellings of words within this topic. David Harris
