Inviting Students to Your Home
Shortly before last Thanksgiving, we brought our ESL students to one
instructor's house where the students, following our instructions and
previously prepared recipes, prepared a Thanksgiving feast with all
the trimmings! It was great fun, fellowship, and intensive ESL.
You could do it with a barbeque, making ice-cream, a picnic, anything
that engages a group of students. What is also fun is when they try to
teach you THEIR recipes in English.
