The Field of Deans
Whenever I plan a fieldtrip for my Middle school ESL students, I always include as part of the trip requirements that they must not have any discipline visits with the Dean of Students. Another requirement is that they have no more than one missing assignments. This keeps them motivated academically and behaviorally! It also helps me because I don't need or want to monitor disruptive children during the trip.
