My adult students love my "Bingo" games last period of the week. I use transparencies (or write on board) 35 or so words. The students make a grid 5x5 for 25 words. Write one word in each grid anywhere they like. Then I call the words. I sometimes use past participles on grid and I call out the present tense. The students have to call out the past participle and then check their grids, etc. I give out candy as prizes. Easier grids are "places" and I call out things like "I need to cash my paycheck. Where do I go?" (bank is one place on grid). Hope someone else might like this idea.
