Pretzels
Pretzels! Yes, the food. Recipes and cooking are great ways for ESL students and teachers to explore their creativity, and their senses. Tom Drummond (drummond@seaccd.sccd.ctc.edu) provides a pretzel recipe, as well as "Guides fo r Teacher" to incorporate the cooking, creating, etc. into the classroom. Although, the idea is geared for ECE classes, I think that it can be manipulated into gearing it for beginning ESL classes at any age. P.S. I think these ESL Home Pages are excellent. Name: N. Elias
