Parts of Speech Game
![]()
I teach a class of about 5 native Spanish Speakers. I use this game to help them pull together the things they've learned in different classes. I wrote out different words on pieces of construction paper, and split them up according to parts of speech. So, when we study past-tense verbs, for example, then I have like 10 cards of new past-tense verb vocabulary words. I then distribute a different part of speech to each person, and we use them to make sentences. They have a great time, and we've made some gramatically correct, but hilarious sentence like "The new house flew over the flowers.". So far we have past-tense verbs, pronouns, adjectives, prepositions, nouns, and posessives. Name: Sara Epp
